To all,
this truck has been starting hard for about a year. By hard I mean a long cranking time and a lot of spiting and sputtering until all 8 are runing.
The truck will start well after setting 3 or 4 days. We have new plugs, wire's
cap and rotor. My thought was the coolant temp sensor however i can't seem to get a good reading from the paperwork I have as to what restance at what
temp it should be. I am recving 5 volts DC at the tmp probe from the ECU.

A conversation with A new 109 owner sugests maybe leaking fuel injectors.
A test has the fuel rail presure droping from 38 psi to 22 psi in under 5 min.
This would ind that we may have bad injectors. Or is there a check valve in
the return line that chould cause this trouble.
If new injcctors are needed where do I order them from

Thanks

TO isolate the ck valve from the injectors, use a pair of hose pliers (or vise grips with hose over the jaws and clamp off the return line and feed line to the pump by the fuel rail. Still have pressure loss? Injectors.

Summit racing has 5.0 Motorsport injectors that are drop in replacements for under $250/ 8 as opposed to the $1,000,000.01 from LR.

Trevor should write a book on how to keep your rover running.
