Mind you, this vehicle looked fine with all it's clothes on....

Rear floor and sill (bumper removed)

Left rear wheel well, looking in and forward:

Right rear wheel well, looking in and rearward, nice view of the seatbelt mounting hole and backing plate: (Ccoils in the rear, original, turned out to be a 91 not a 93)

I'm still exploring.....the front furniture is coming out next.

So far I intend to rescue this one...I've been looking for an excuse to get a plasma cutter and tig or mig welder for a long time....where do I go for the metal bits?

I just made my own metal bits with sheet metal - still have some more stuff to do. Atlantic British has premade stuff for the sills. A 110V MIG worked great for me, but remember to watch the fuel line under the floor when you start cutting!

You say you want to remove your front furniture - I hope the furniture motors work other wise it will be tough. I think the switches usually die before the motors so you can just run 12 volts to the motors to make them move for access to the bolts.

Are you going to put it's clothing back on after the repairs or leave it naked?

I intend to dress it up again. All the trim bits are in pretty decent shape. It can be a decent looking daily driver for a while.

I plan on removing the fuel tank, as I want to clean up and treat the entire underside.

I was looking at the C pillar, right side, with its bottom rotted out.....I am not convinced that the roof drain is the problem, as it is passing through clean and undamaged.....

What were your thoughts on that?

I don't think the roof drain is the problem either. I don't know why it rusts so bad in that spot but it does. That is a place I have yet to fix.

Atlantic British reports that there are no body parts available at this time....the parts supply is dry.... He said there's only 350 listed parts for this vehicle at the time.

He hopes someone will "pick it up"......

Thats right. The company that makes aftermarket body repair pieces for LR went out of business. I think it was called SPI??
