Don't we have an annual photo contest? I thought this may be a good candidate... This was her first ride in the beast....

LOL! She could probably smell Murphey all over it! Although Murphey won't get in my Series trucks when they are running, I have to shut it off to get him in. I guess it is too stinky.

Best i could do. The one in the Rover is when Dad took a hard left and forgot about the luggage stacked and it fell over on Clyde. He wasnt too happy!

Thought I'd throw in this pic of our two pooches during some "hardcore" backyard wheelin'.

Great pics. I think Galen has Evan's dog Sam driving the Short Bus.

Indeed. We're pretty sure he drives it better than Sean too.

The tent in the background clearly indicates that this was a high plains adventure.
In my orchard.
Going to RC Saturday, but not Derek.
OK, so its in a manicured front garden in suburbia. But who wants to get a Series dirty anyway? :)

...I couldn't help but notice the flag and ZA in the right corner. Explain???
Wow, impressive!
Grew up in Jhb, South Africa. 109 short bus was family car from when I was born until about 12 years old. Was later involved in LROC SA. Went on monthly 'rally' weekends, broke a fixed few 11a 88s in my time.
Call it nostalgia or mid life crisis, but now I have this pristine 11a that I use for errands and shows. Yes I know, its a sacrilege! Oh well, its in my blood now. At least the familiar whine of the transmission reminds me of being a kid when I was sleeping on long trips and could only hear tires and transmission.

Jo'burg....mmmm "crunchie"! :D
only kidding, I grew up in Cape Town, one of my earliest memories is riding in the back of a Land Rover in the dunes outside of Walvis Bay ...it's amazing the things we remember
well at least I have a skottel in the back of the 11a that goes with me wherever I go! Guess I cant get the 'crunchie' out of me!

I own a potjiie and I have my Boerewors made by a butcher near me. It's not 'crunchie', it's what being South African is.
When did you end up on these shores?
Ahhh, Walvis and Swakopmoend. Actually, I have travelled around most of southern Africa in a Landy. Angola was the only place where I was involuntarily travelling!
I need good boerie! We need to get together sometime!!
