Any of you NJ guys that would be willing to deliver a roof rack to Tom P.? It is small, maybe only 3ft deep by the width of a Series Rover. It would easily fit inside the back of a truck.

I can bring it along and leave it with the campers till some of you arrive on Saturday.

Thanks,

Trevor/Derek,

You guys want to meet somewhere along 81? Mapquest takes us that way to get there but I don't really know route beyond 81. I'm sure Sven and I will drive together.

What time where you thinking?

I just sent an e-mail to Lynn to inform her of our numbers for camping. (I said 6 for tent camping and maybe 2 non-camping trailers). I also asked what time they would like us there Friday am.
Ususally they like everyone to check in each day before 10am.
I can join 81 at Exit 77, which has a truck stop and other services.
Derek and I have to run to Baltimore on Friday afternoon to pick up various teenage children, and hopefully can make it back for dinner.
FYI Exit 100, left at the end of the ramp (services to the right if you need fuel) and just follow the road to the park entrance on your left.
Or, take the next exit, right at the end of the ramp and at the top of the hill in Joliet, turn left on main street to the park entrance on your right.

Man, I haven't been there for a long time... hoping to get the exhaust sorted out on the 109

Exit 77 to 100 is exactly 23 miles so figure 25-30 minutes ST (series time) w/ overdrive and a strong tail wind you can make it <20 ;)

If Tevo can look over the 109 before Friday I'll take it, but I don't want to risk running it without a good once over and fluid check all around etc..

T & D, is Exit 77 Route 39? Sven and I will be cutting across from 322 to 81 on 39. I know it is close and will run into Hershey, but not sure if 39 is Exit 77.

Why does Mcd's make me sick like the guy from that documentary?

How about 8.15? It's a touch over 30 miles from there to the park-uphill most of the way- so we should be there by noon.

Hardeeharhar.

My big plan has me wheeling until about 2, setting up the camp and heading to MD. Derek and I may find ourselves travelling to Frederick and coming back through H-burg during rush hour. Ulitmately, I think y'all should not count on us for dinner, but keep the coals hot!

That still leaves breakfast and lunch/snackies.

Jake and I are going to be at the park by around 9am. (Officially, I'm taking him on a "field trip" as far as work is concerned, and he's going to have been ill as far as skool knows. I guess this technically constitutes 'illegal wheeling')

Like Dave said, it broke. I didn't watch it happen (I was in my car) but I think the trail was #11. There was a muddy/rutted section off to the side that he used a bit of speed and wheel spin to get through - probably with the lockers engaged. When it broke it fell out of the socket and was getting wedged against the wheel which prevented that one tire from steering. Made the tires look like this \ / when he was coming toward us. Surprisingly nothing was bent in the steering system.
