As long as the weather is OK, Jake and I will be at this event in our Mini Moke. It's a beautiful 50-mile drive for us through Amish country (Route 772).

This is a casual event. No judging. Always some interesting cars. The McMullens were there last time with the 101 FC and a very nice small-mouth TR3.

Sunday, August 24.

I'm torn between the 2A p'up and the 3 Station Wagon. Probably will bring the 3 as it looks just spectacular with the fresh paint and details.

I will be there with the XD tomorrow. This is a nice little show. The weather looks to be great. We were going to ride motorcycles over like last year but we will see if the Rover makes it with no problems. It is a short trip but there is always something. I will probably only stay untill lunch time or so. My only day off so I have to get other things done. Scott

Dawn and I will be there with her 109. If Scott/Tikicar sees this, please bring our cooler! We've stopped by but couldn't find it, and no one was home...

Yeah, My friend Andy & I had a good time. I had to leave early with today being my only day off I had things around the house to do. Bob & Dawn, I never saw you but stuck the cooler in the rover. I guess you found it. Scott

Scott, thanks for bringing the cooler. Amazing we didn't see you, the area was not that big... Perhaps next year I will have my 109 and the wife can bring the TR3 or TR6. Too may projects.

I had a great time there also. Seen a couple of people I met before and met some new Rover fans. There was some cool cars there also. First time ever I watched a little polo.

I know this is not the kind of restoration Land Rovers typically get, but in case anybody's interested in the paint and interior stuff we did on our taxi...

Also - Shaun made it from Trevor's to the show and then home, but there's a geyser of fuel squirting around under the bonnet. Video here: http://rosefleet.blogspot.com/
Help needed yet again. *sigh*

Clearly there are things we are good at, and things we are not. :)

diesel is rather hard to actually catch fire. Looks like something easier to figure out than the last problem!
