From Tom Bache:
We will be staging the picnic in the “A” pavilion of the Evansburg State Park near Collegeville, PA.. We have rented the pavilion, and supposedly there is a park entrance fee of between 3-6 Dollars. When we visited, I didn’t see how this was collected, but just to let you know. This year, partly to due logistics, we will ask everyone to bring a dish to share, no desserts. Also bring your own table supplies like plastic flatware, plates, cups, etc. and drinks of your choice. The club will have the grille going and provide burgers, sausage and the like.
We will stage some Rover oriented entertainment, and there is a playground nearby, along with restrooms. This is a perfect time to visit with fellow club members, trade Rover stories and socialize in general. We have some of the nicest people in this club, so please come and join us. Signs will be posted in the park to guide you in.
Any questions, please call us at 1-610-268-8008.
