From Tom Bache:

We will be staging the picnic in the “A” pavilion of the Evansburg State Park near Collegeville, PA.. We have rented the pavilion, and supposedly there is a park entrance fee of between 3-6 Dollars. When we visited, I didn’t see how this was collected, but just to let you know. This year, partly to due logistics, we will ask everyone to bring a dish to share, no desserts. Also bring your own table supplies like plastic flatware, plates, cups, etc. and drinks of your choice. The club will have the grille going and provide burgers, sausage and the like.

We will stage some Rover oriented entertainment, and there is a playground nearby, along with restrooms. This is a perfect time to visit with fellow club members, trade Rover stories and socialize in general. We have some of the nicest people in this club, so please come and join us. Signs will be posted in the park to guide you in.
Any questions, please call us at 1-610-268-8008.

I will check when I get home -- just got it yesterday.

I have a soccer game in NJ at 10 AM so I doubt I will make it. I was hoping it was late afternoon, that way I could leave Barnegat 12:30ish and get there for 2:30ish.

No, too far for a one day event.

Thought I did.

Expired 1/30/08. Sent a reminder email around March. If you think that's a mistake let me know.

I figured but thought I would ask. I am torn myself, considering I'd get there at 3 or so.

I've had a bunch of complaints about emails not getting there - maybe it's yahoo getting sent to your spam folder. Also, if you (or anyone else) has changed email addresses then let me know so I can update the list.

I'm not very prompt with sending reminder emails - but I do send them before removing your name.

Well wouldn't be the first time AOL lost an email sent to me.

Did you join the club or the forum? If your address is on the rolls for the club then you should have gotten a newsletter. I only had one bounce back this time and that is a record.

If you sent in $$$ then you should have gotten a newsletter, some stickers, and a welcome letter. You're also entitled to a t-shirt - but I don't mail those so you'd have to get it at an event. Post or PM me you're name if you think you paid and I'll check my records. Also, when you paid would be helpful.

FWIW: I never got a mailed newsletter either. I don't think.

Anyway - Matt, Denise (blonde who was at the Taste of Britain) and I will be attending, with a batch of baked beans. Oh, and Pheobe, a tiny but very excellent car-addict-in-training.

See you there!

Did you just get one a few weeks ago? You are on the list I checked. New members won't get one when they sign up but they will get it when the new one goes out as you are then on the mailing list.

What a great day for a picnic! Great to see all of you and thanks to all who organised the event. Well done!
Anybody pick up my black long sleeve shirt with "Snowbird" on the front?

Yuppers, very nice event. Pictures to follow. Met and re-met lots of fellow Rover owners.
