I am going to sell my XD. I hardly drive it and I think I want another series rover. 1997 Discovery XD Only 250 Built. 118,000 miles. All XD options are on it. Other than a abs light lit on the dash and the tap in the motor it runs perfect. Doesn't burn oil and only drips a little. Within the last 4,000 miles it had new BFG AT tires, new exhaust including cats and 4, O2 sensors. Plus regular service. The truck is clean inside and the body is in good shape. It does have the event decal package on it which was the only option on a XD.

Jeremy, new trail truck?

Michael, running trail truck?

That's a good price on a nice, clean truck.

Damn, and I already have a Discovery (that I paid $4600 for 2 years ago)

I wish I had read this site for a year before buying my first 'Rover. I'd have something else instead of what I got.

Really can't complain, it drives nice and has passed inspection with only a marking light.

This truck was at the Lanco Polo British Car Day back in August, as I recall. It's very nice, maybe too nice to scrape against trees and rocks. Seems like a good deal to me too.

I figured it was a little too nice for trails but it is a good deal on a clean Rover and I always like to see them stay in the club.

Well Galen, if you're buying on my behalf, sure ... :-)

Seriously though, now just isn't the right time.

It is a sweet ride though. Always loved the XDs.

Trade you a Miata for it - even trade. OMG, my wife would freak. Oh well, trade now, deal with wife later. I'm just across the river.

I drove the XD to work last week since we had snow. Those of you that have been to my house know that my 2WD S10 Blazer will not make it up if there is even a dusting of snow. While it was sitting at the shop a good customer asked if it was for sale. He wanted to trade in a car which I do not want. ( I have to deal with this stuff everyday and didn't want to do it with my own car. That is why it is not on the lot.) Anyway I told him I would give him sometime to see if he could come up with the $$ or find a buyer for his car. So it is in a holding pattern for a little while. Wally I will call you as soon as I know what is going on. He is a good customer so I want to give him a chance. Anyone who was contacted by him I am sorry. I work in a garage not in front of a computer. The reason I do not have posts in the thousands. So I did not have time to call or email him yesterday. I was going to call him this morning but somehow he got my cell# and called me. I did not post my number or email address to prevent the Nigerian scammers gladly pay you Tuesday for a Land Rover today idiots. Again I get enough of this with the other stuff on the lot. Thanks, Scott
