Cool Sean, is the old one salvagable? What are you gonna do with the old one?

VERY NICE!!! Will it give you any more legroom? I sat in a series at the swap meet and I was surprised at how tight the fit was (and I'm not a tall guy). Is that common?

Just found out there is no ROVERS container this fall....... damn damn damn.
The old bulkhead can certainly be fixed, I've seen worse on driving rovers, not sure what I am going to do, maybe fix up and sell, try something new instead of giving all my stuff away :)

Legroom and Series don't really mix. Being a little guy myself, it's just right!

Sean where did you find the bulkhead? Was it made custom or was it an off the shelf part?

Thanks,
G

I do believe there will be nice information in the Feb issue of LRM :)

Actually, the guy just started making them, much tougher than the ones now coming out of craddocks/paddocks ( not sure which one ). I'll pass on the info when I get it. There was Lindsay Porter as the middle man so I never really knew who built it....

Still haven't seen my bulkhead yet ( still over there ), but there is a huge write up on making it in the Feb issue of LRM, rather impressive workmanship.

Contact info:

Andrew Morris
Unit 11
Hilton Industrial Estate
Hilton, Nr Derby De65 5FE
Tel 01283 734 324

650 Pounds for Series III and 750 Pounds for II/IIa
If anyone contacts him or buys one, please tell him Sean from LRM passed his info on, Lindsay Porter wrote the article, use that too if you could. Trying to help the guy a bit.

It's been outside for quite a few months, nothing but dirt and stains on it. I ws going to leave it that way, but the thought of all thay new shinny yellow paint convinced me otherwise.

this thing has evey single hole for left and right hand drive, any ideas on filling them? Can't weld them as the galvy gets toasted. Bondo, not really want to. Got any sources for tons of various size rubber plugs?

It may sound silly, but I've plugged holes in the past with Nerf balls.
