RN has 2007 new take-offs, in white, for $99/ea! I ordered one after I got the tip.
They have new take-off, Defender wind-up doors too, if that's your thing...

They look like they are for Defenders......do they fit a series truck?

Yes, it will fit Series fine. Comes as pictured - with hinges and eyes:

Defenders do not utilize galvanized finishes, so the capping, hinges, eyes, etc will be painted.

That's less than it cost me to fabricate one last spring for my trailer.:(

I bought one and then realised that it would be way to nice compared to the rest of the "patina".

Yeah, I now have a 109 with bronze green wings, doors, bonnet & tub, but defender-white tailgate, roof panel and roof sides. Oh, and A soon-to-be white liftgate...

That's what we like to call "character."

Oh, yeah? I got your character right here, big boy. Come and get it.

I'm going to do one of those bedliner coatings on the inside, and over the non-galvy capping. Then paint the exterior with a black & white chevron pattern - sort of a high-visibility slow-vehicle warning. Maybe put some Scotchlite reflective tape in the pattern as well? Not sure about that though - a bit self-defeating on a ex-military truck
