I spotted an old Jeep (although I thought at first it could be a Mighty Mite M422) on my way home from work on Monday. Jake and I went to investigate (note the Roverlab RRC in the background of one picture).

While it's kind of cool, it's not a project for us. It's for sale with an asking price of $2,000.

There are tons of spare parts (two engines, a gearbox, axles, and a chest freezer full of smaller parts). If anybody is interested, I'll pass along contact info.

PS: If this had been a '48-'53 80" Land-Rover, we would have bought it for parts for the 1951 project.

"It's a Jeep thing. You wouldn't understand."

BTW: The Jeep sold to a guy from Clarion, PA using the pictures Jake took, so we did a good deed . . .
