Shaun needs a new home. Solid frame, strong engine, excellent little truck that needs some love. Parts range from mid-60's to '71. DIESEL. Wiring is not pretty (sticking out from under the dash) but it works. There have been some issues with the starter (sorted now, new starter), gasket leaks (which have been repaired), and fuel pump, which works now thanks to a Trevor work-around with an electric pump assist. He says the fuel lines needs to be bled if he "sits for a while" - you are welcome to speak to him (Trevor, not the truck - although you're welcome to inspect him too!) for clarification. Since taken to Trevor's he's developed a sticky clutch.

He was my everyday driver for about 4 months before the starter went, and I have faith that he'll be awesome with the proper attention. Unfortunately I can't provide it right now.

He has Range Rover seats. This may be a downer for a purist but I like the additional bum-cushioning over the bumps. He has the overdrive installed and can go on the highway, although it's a bit noisy. :)

Comes with some extras including proper wheels and a larger steering wheel.
I'd love for him to go to a Rover enthusiast who will get him back on the roads and trails. Make me an offer. Seriously. I have about 10K in him but I know I will never recover that. I just want him in the right hands.
Sharon
PS - Shaun is currently in Elizabethtown, PA, at Trevor's garage. I live in Paoli, PA

Sorry - forgot to mention he's RHD (right hand drive) and he runs and drives.

Collected him from Trevor's today. The clutch is indeed stiff but he made it home just fine, an hour+ at highway speeds. According to the GPS he was doing 64mph - boy that overdrive is sure amazing.

I'm getting some nibbles on my CL and LREx ads, so now that he's home hopefully some visits will happen.

Oh - and by the way - the new Star Trek movie is awesome!
