I would take a look at the hazard switch- in order to change the light bulb in the clock, one might have disconnected the harness on the back of the switch and maybe it's not fully seated. The t/s need the hazard switch in line to function.

no just checked that. I did find a wire on the left bumper light that was chafed and could of shorted out on the bumper. is there a relay or a fuse somewhere else that could have blow ?? when it started the turn signals went first then about an hour later the hazards? the light in the dash does not light any more to

F1 (15amp) in the under dash fuse box and F4 (30amp) in the under hood fuse box supply power first to the hazard switch and then into the fuse box where the t/s flasher unit is located.
Trailer wiring? I had a Disco in here last week that had a completely smoked signal convertor. I mean, it let all of the smoke out. Thank goodness for fuses, but it left him stranded at a Taco Bell drive through with a trailer and the Rover in park!

could i have fryed the wires in the dash somewhere or the hazard switch its self

I would think that cooking the wires would be unlikely but anything is possible.

Hey Trevor, when are you gonna pick up that blue range rover under the wrightsville exit bridge?

Does the trailer indicator come on or just flash when you first apply the turn signal?

It should just flash once with the signals, this is normal on a D1

The "trailer" indicator light should flash once first flash and then extinguish on all subsequent flashes.......unless there is a short on that side wiring in the trailer wiring area. From what I have noticed with my pop-up camper is that with enough amperage draw from the trailer circuit when that bulb is lit up the light on the dash is indicating it is plugged in and flashing.

However with no trailer present I would say that your wiring might be suspect somewhere?

Mike, do you have trailer wiring? disconnect and lets see if there's a change.

unplugged the black box in the rear right hand corner trailer ind. still lights up it only lights up with the right side t/s the left side is good blinks once then gos out. i can live with it like that as long as it does not fry something else

I would guess that you may have a bulb of too high a wattage on that side.
