August 23 at the Lancaster Polo grounds. Non-judged show, good Rover turn out last year (plus a familial MiniMoke for good measure.)

Bring a picnic lunch, not a lot of shade so bring your sunblock.

plus a familial MiniMoke

Is this anything like Karioke?

Oh, no, a Mini Moke is the Real Thing.

Dawn and I plan on being there with both 109s, since none of the Brit cars are roadworthy. We enjoyed ourselves last year.

I won't be able to make it this year.

We're thinking of going to watch rock crawling at Rausch Creek on Saturday. If we have the energy left, we'll be at this show on Sunday, but with a Mini rather than a Land-Rover.

Once again a fun day, but not as many Land Rovers as last year. The McMullans were there with the 101, we our two 109s and a there was a S2 Discovery. All of those pristine vehicles, and we didn't even wash off the dirt....

I did talk to one of the polo players who has a 68 SIIA 88 bugeye project for sale, and not too far away.... I will take a look and find out what he is asking. It might be a good project for someone else, or could supply the body bits for my rolled 88.
