another lug nut?

Any reason I should not cut the annoying caps off the nuts? I feel like I am forever fighting with them.

I did it. I believe I use a one inch socket for the cap-less lug nuts.

I usually have steel wheels on (w/ steel wheel lug nuts). If I was going to continue to use the alloys, I would probably look for an older set of solid steel lug nuts for alloys (from an older RRC) rather than use the cap-less ones, as the one's that I've removed the caps from don't look so great.

I suppose that they would look ok if you cleaned them off really well and painted them.

I have a bunch of the older RR lug nuts for $3 ea if you want them.

no thanks on the rrc nuts just going to cut the rest off. just bought a bumper and replaced waterpump so for now even $ 60 bucks is not in the truck budget right now.
