Cruise control works again for the first time since I owned my D-1. I had replaced "most" of the vacuum line going to and from the bellows but I wasn't sure where it went on the electric vacuum pump. Now just in case you try this yourself......it goes on the smooth nipple sticking out of the pump that you can't see but you can feel. Not on the bell shaped one. I found this out by running jumper leads to the pump from the battery and checking to see which one sucked.
