SCC Food this weekend......

Being Roverless this year I'll volunteer as chef. (Those of you that may remember me being a veggie need not fear, I am now officially a recovering vegetarian....:D ) Evan says I know how to cook.

Right now we're looking at 11-15 people.

Bring your own favorite beverage of course.

If you want to contribute and bring something please consult the list below, and post what you want to bring, and whatever is left over I'll take care of and you can throw a few bucks in the hat when you get there:

Saturday dinner:

Evan suggested a pasta dish.....

Pasta primavera with chicken:

Chicken tenders, 5 pounds
Crimini mushrooms whole, 4 boxes
Linguini 7 bags
Broccoli/zuchini/peppers/carrots
Garlic/Basil (fresh)
2 pints of heavy cream
3 bags of shredded Italian cheese mix

Garlic Bread (lots)

Breakfast burrito's on Sat/Sunday

Eggs 3 dozen
Potatoes 12 large
Bacon 8 or so pounds
Some more peppers
Big tortillas (about 30)
Orange juice 5 or so gallons

General supplies:

Butter 3 pounds
COARSE ground coffee
Sugar
Milk
Salt/pepper
Hot sauce
Olive oil.


Snacks/lunch on Sat/Sun

Bread/lunch meats/cheese/peanut butter whatever.......

Anything else we may need but I can't think of right now.....

I'll pick up a few loaves of fresh bread for garlic bread , Garlic and Basil (if I can find fresh). Tortillas and veggies I'll cover also .

Head count stands at 12 at this point , we may not need 5 gallons of OJ .

Looks like I won't be able to make it due to an unexpected emergency :mad: I sure will miss it, but have a great time guys!!!!

We did have a great time, although the trails proved a bit much, even for a Defender with lockers..... level terrain only. Just getting up to the cabin was a challenge...... .
