Does anybody know if a spare tire carrier on a D1 is the same as on a D2? Will it bolt right up and are the studs the same? I broke :( one of the studs on mine and I need to invert it so I can put a larger tire on.

No idea, but your post is important to us and one of our members will get back to you as soon as possible.
(I just don't want you to think that since nobody answered your question we didn't read it or care)

Bolt pattern of D2 wheels is different than D1 wheels... 5x120mm for D2 and 5x4.5" for D1s I believe... so it most likely wont work

You can have the one off of our '96 D1, if I can get it off. I'll try to remove it tomorrow and will let you know. Heck, I'll even deliver it....

I removed the one from our '96 Disco today. I can deliver this evening, otherwise it will have to wait until late Monday evening or Tuesday daytime.
Please let me know.

Randy's father-in-law passed away today so he's going to be out of the office for a little while.

Sorry to hear that about Randy's In-Law. Best of wishes to him and their family.
No idea if that is Tokyo Rose, I doubt it. Sexy sounding women hardly ever look the part.

Yea sorry to hear about Randy`s Father-In-law. I`m in no hurry anyways. Been riding with the spare in the back for at least a month.

I`d like to thank Randy for the spare tire carrier. When we were talking I was griping about the EBC brakes I put on last year. ( There warped already:mad: ) I got theme from Atlantic British about 14 months ago. Randy said give them a call. So I called them and they sent out a brand new front set of rotors. :D
But how did they warp so quickly? Calipers are good and I do know how to install brakes. Now next week I got a little work to do!!!
Thanks again Randy, Bob

Check and make sure the pads are wore evenly inside and out and both sides the D2s have potential to seize calipers
