Nothing says "offroad capable" like plastic bumpers. Of course we've been hearing about the new defender for about 6 years now.....

Looks like a Honda Element and a new FJ tossed into a blender.

Sean -- you nailed it. Element and FJ for certain, but maybe with a splash of Ford Flex (roof and side slab) (http://www.ford-carz.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/2010-ford-flex-images.jpg) and a dash of VW Thing (corner lights) (http://symonsez.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/vwthing1974.jpg)

No matter what, it's a FUGLY deal.

Oh it's just a auto mag artists rendering based on current body styles available. Still nasty compared to the square body we all love.

Thank goodness the illustrator works for the ezine, not the manufacturer.

Yes, it is only an illustration, but I stand by my FUGLY claim.

Plus, like Trevor said, here's to hoping LR/Tata isn't a fan of this guy's work!

Oh great, now all their new scale models are black with black steel wheels, snorkels made of black flex pipe and heavily laden with stickers.

oh wait that was at a car show last year in ocmd.
i need a redneck lift(hint), cant decide on what type camo to put on it.
should go with the british camo since it was made in the uk.

Redneck lifts are my speciality. You wanted that totally unsafe looking 3" kit right?

3" is all you really need. Some caster correcting bushings or radius arms might be neato, and some longer rear shocks, and some longer flexible brake lines and some longer bump stops, but all you really need is the 3" blocks.

Its a good thing that there are plenty of mod's Defenders to rebuild..... to keep the originals from extinction.
That thing makes an Element look like an Accord!
