As a member of this club I'd like to invite everyone to come out to "A Taste of Britain" in Rothsville, Lancaster County, PA on August 22, 2010 rain or shine.

The show is sponsored by the Lanco MG Club which I am also a member of.

The Lancaster Polo Club also has a Polo match as part of the event.

Here is the link for those interested.

I know there are a few members who've been there a few times.

We intend to be there likely with both 109s. We always have fun, and seeing the cars might prompt me into working on some of our projects.

Great!

It would be cool to see more Landies there, especially Defenders for me anyway.

People don't see them and don't realize they are out there as well as old Series Landies.

The first year I had my Disco I took it and my '78 Midget and it was quite a site to see the Midget next to the Disco.

Let's get the Rovers out to this show.

However, I'll be there with my '79 MG B as my Disco is still out of commission due to lack of funds right now.

Weather looks like it'll be OK - we plan to be there with the 80".

I believe it's OK, and plan to do the same thing.

Hmmm, I don't think any of it will buff out anymore! But I do have a sweet S2a that I would love to have sit in somebody else's driveway! And even better, the owner of the S2a dropped off his 65 GT350 last night. Man, I need another fastback in my life....

That's a 'top-10 list' car, along with a Lotus 7, etc.

The weather forecast looks less promising for tomorrow . . .

Trevor,

What is the number of the GT-350? It should be on the plate on the left side of the fenderwell, SFM 5SXXX.....

Just so I can update my Registry.

Ray picked it up early this afternoon. He has to come back to pick up the 2A or the RRC tomorrow.
I know that it has a few non-Shelby parts like a Jasper engine and the RH fender has an antenna hole in it. May explain why it was less than expensive.

Mr. and Mrs. McM were there with the 101 and I had my 109. Bfmcelroy was there with his MGB working the entry tent with the host club. I think the periodic rain kept most of the cars away, but I iirc there was around 150 cars there.
