O.K. Folks, either we will eat like Kings or we'll eat like hobos. Its up to us to make it work.
I've foolishly stuck my name on organizing the dinner.
I'd like to eat all together at 7pm. That gives us enough time to get camp set up and food cooked I think.
I will update this posting with names and items committed to as they come in. Either post in this thread or email me. My email address is at the bottom of all my posts.

Rob,

I am looking forward to this trip. I have alot of "guide level" cooking equipment.... I can make a huge pot of chili. I would like to make a "game chili" but if people wont eat deer meat I can make an exception. The last pot I made fed 40 people.... let me know if this is good.

That works for me. I'll add one pot of roadkill chili to the list.

Bump diddy bump diddy bump bump bump.

Well, I am not even camping now. Still trying to organize the dinner though. Isn't anybody interested in doing an organized meal besides TJ?

I always tend to stop at the local supermarket on the way, or after trials.
I'll bring what ever is needed or just stuff to share.

We're going to be up for camping. I was planning to cook-up a campfire stew w/Dumplings in my 8 qt Dutch Oven ... there's usually enough to go around for 6-8 folks. I have a smaller 6 qt Dutch Oven and do something additional if needed to cover another 4 or so.

Just got off the phone with Tom Hinkle who helps out every year making trails. He works for Clover Farms Dairy and was able to get them to donate a case of Icy Tea and a case of Lemonade for the event. I will have them up at the camp site and down at the house. And to think, Tom doesn't even have a Land Rover yet! Any more ideas on food?

I did mention a while back that I would be camping, but now thats a 50-50 chance. So you can all eat more food now!

See you on Sun if not Sat night.
