I have a set of M-18 milwaukie drill and impact driver that I am dissapointed with. Impacter is dead (brushes) and the drill is shot. Kit is only 18 months old.

What tools do yall have that you like/trust?

DeWalt. I use them everyday, 18v drill w/ hammertime option, Recipricating(sp) saw,Circularsaw, impact gun, hand held light, even the vacuum. The the drill is easy to service, I can open the back blow out carbon biuld up, or even replace brushes. i've been using the same drill for 6 years and only thing I've had to do is get some of the batteries rebuilt.

I had a 1/2" 18v nicad dewalt drill, was happy with it but trigger went bad. Drill wasn't that old but my company wouldn't spend the money to get it fixed. It was theirs. I got somebody elses 28 volt milwaukie drill and that kicked ash. That trigger went out and again no fix. Got the M-18 drill and impact driver sert and I'm just not happy with that set at all. Drill has been back for motor once and the impactor has worn out its brushes after a year and a half.

I think our company is going to buy hitachi drills now.

I want the 36v dewalt but damn are they steep.
