I got a set of cleaned and flowed "1994 Land Rover Injectors" off of Ebay. They showed up and were Ford injectors. I understand these work so I gave them a try.
The area on the injector that the clips surrounds is larger on the Ford injector. This keeps the upper slots on the clip from engaging the fuel rail lip properly. You can see that the clip is sprung open a bit.
Anyone have any ideas? I was going to try and track down some Ford clips, but where? Or???

I've had a new shot of energy since the trails event. I am going to get this thing running soon.
