Suffix 'B' transfer case
Would be from a 1962-3 Series IIA
Easiest way to identify is that it would be attached to a Suffix 'B' gearbox.
There are no external clues on the transfer case itself.
There are 22 teeth on the straight cut intermediate gear which can be seen with the inspection cover removed.
The advantage is a lower ratio in low range (2.88 versus 2.35).
Since my gearbox is apart, it'd be worth making the switch if I could find one ...
