No, but even if I did I would recommend not spend all of it here.

Seems like it would be easier and cheaper to get a 2011 Defender and have the TITLE rebuilt to 1986 specs.

I wasn't going to include my 2 pennies..... but here goes!
I get the Defender heritage, I love the fact that Land Rover still manufacture these wonderfull vehicles, I certainly apprecciate the Privateers for restoring them.

BUT, why in the hell do you think that the Toyota's; Nissan's; and even Jeep's are dominating in the plains of Africa and Australia's outback and anywhere else a vehicle like this applies?

The U.N. can buy 2 and half Toyota's for a the price ( pushing $100,000 ) for 1 Defender!

My theory will be sooner or later.... Land Rover and Privateers will make this vehicle extinct!

If they were the price of a 2010 Toureg TDI demo.... I would buy one in a heartbeat!

Cheers,
Luis

If you are in Africa I can supply you a new Defender for just under $40,000. I am happy to sell these to Americans and let them worry about how to get them in.

The 2010 Toureg TDI is not comparable to the Defender, its direct competition is the Discovery 4 or LR4 as its known in the USA. And sure buy a 2010 Toureg TDI and in 5 years it will be worth a fraction of what you paid for it, whilst the Defender will hold its value.

a wheel nut(lug nut) does not cost 75K at ECR. However, to compare your trucks to that shop is a pretty far stretch. Good Luck with the sale.
