Anybody have a Series IIA 'parts' gearbox opened up already?
I need 2nd gear from the layshaft of a Suffix A, B or C gearbox.

I'm looking for one specific gear that's from an early to mid Series IIA gearbox. Even if you're willing to sell just one gear out of the Series III box, it would be different, but thanks.

Maybe picking up a 2a 109 6 cyl that will get a repower and a 5 speed, but it could be a few weeks before the box is available.

Trevor,
I would be very, very interested in buying that gearbox.
I'm in no hurry.
It would be a spare.
Little-known fact: The NADA 109 6-cylinder gearbox used the Suffix A style layshaft (.75" ID bearing in bellhousing). That's the set-up I am replicating by installing a Suffix A layshaft in a later gearbox. [The reason must have been that the only available bellhousing used that small bearing. The bolt pattern for that engine was the same as a Series One 4-cylinder engine, not the same as the 2.25 engine.]
I spent a long, hot day out in the shop with three gearboxes putting together a combination that 'might' work. Time will tell . . . but I'd sure like to have a spare.

PS: Jake and I are always ready for a trip to RC now that we have the Disco back.
