4" grinder + 3 cutting discs x 40 minutes = a clearance bumper.
I was going to buy a new winch bumper but I think I will run this for a while and get a snorkel instead.

Very nice. Looks much more off roadish.

I'd add 1 or 2 JATE rings to the front for recovery points, ( I didn't see diff guards in the pix, add those also!) and it'll be good to go!

Looks great! Did youhave original fog lights?

I've been wanting to do something similar to my Disco I, but don't have the guts to cut the lower part of th bumper off like you did. Plus I have those bumper end pieces that turn gray from the oriignal black that I'm not sure what to do with if I did cut the lower part of the bumper off.

Brian, on the D1 the lower center section unbolts from the end caps and the bumper. Cut the end caps along the one molded line and it'll look almost like it was meant to be that way.

What Trevor is describing I've done to my own d-1 with very little drama. 5 minutes with a sawzall and it will look like you put a 4" lift on. But now I've got my Pierce offroad bumper so I've retired my old unit. (Besides, Nicole had adjusted it)

Leave it stock and bring it to Rausch, you'll cut it off if the trails don't take care of it first. :p
