On the Rausch Creek board under Park Announcements there's a posting that describes an additional 8,000 acre parcel that must be adjacent to the existing property (this isn't the Northeast property).

For now it's only open for guided rides. There are two groups (one green and one blue/black) that they're putting together for December 11. Wouldn't it be amazing if it became another part of the 'open' (i.e., not guided) park? It would be like the old Paragon property.

hopefully when they finish cutting all the trails they will open it up to non-guided rides. i wouldnt mind paying $40 to wheel for the day but $65 if you want to wheel the entire park is a bit extreme IMO.

And it's not like one could see all 11k acres in 1 day for $65! It's a drug and RC is the supplier. Yes, that's it, they get you hooked and make us keep going back for more, $35, than $45, than $65. When will the madness stop! Cant wait to get up there again.
Cant make the 11th as we missed an Indian wedding during this summer, so they're having a party stateside that day...

we were talking about a weekend in February to call and reserve a tour thru the new area. We are doing a night run with camping in January to the pine barrens.

Great news about the additional land, but not about the price. I didn't get to Rausch at all this year for multiple reasons. One of which is the cost of the trip. Between gas, hotel/camping, food, and wheeling it becomes a very costly excursion for me.

i hear ya frank. i get about 11 mpg on my truck. that's 18 gallons each way for me. that is $144 in just gas and that is without gas for wheeling! so i camp whenever i can to save money...
