I'm looking to move the 2.25 Petrol i pulled out of my Yellow 88 to make room for the 200Di.

When I bought it, the bottom and was sound and I replaced the head with a Turner Engineering Stage 1 Head ($750 at the time) and upgraded the cam shaft to 1 2.5 ...and replaced the Carb and Intake exhaust manifold with a 2-bbl weber set-up from a 2.5L (another $450). Only things I robbed for the conversion were (1) the alternator and (2) the top of the thermostat housing. I'd like to see it go to someone in the club and will give it two-three weeks on the board before I list it on eBay. I had about 3,800 miles on the motor after the work (I didn't ouch the bottom end and don't know how much mileage was there).

Also, I have the original single barrel carb and manifold and will include that with the sale.

I'd like to recoup the cost of the head. I'll take the best offer of $750 or more that I receive by 12/17 and then I plan to list it on eBay. Please send any offers to me via PM on the board. If your not a member pls post a reply with contact info and I'll respond.

Thnx, Steve B.

I was wondering if you had sold this on ebay yet or if it is still available. Let me know.
Thanks, Will

Niel, would you be interested in selling the engine? Or do you have another engine in decent shape you would part with? Thanks, Will

Sorry Will, the engine is spoken for. I have another engine but it needs a rebuild. (It smokes a bit) Not sure if you're interested in rebuilding anything though.
