I have one too many wheel/tire combos kicking around and need to reclaim some storage space. Let me know if there is any interest in either set. I'll post pictures and tread depth tonight…
First is a set of five (7.50x16) Dunlop Rover RT's on late 5.5" LWB Series wheels. These are currently on my 109 and have always been garage stored. The wheels are in the standard black paint, no chips or rust. The tires are equally clean - no cracking and good tread. The spare has never touched the ground. The RT's have great road manners and are just shy of an MT off-road. This combo is balanced and ready to go. Looking for $425.
Next, a set of five (7.50x16) Michelin XCL tubed military tires. Four tires are on late LWB wheels (5.5"), one tire on an early LWB (5") wheel. No cracking, still smell like fresh rubber, plenty of tread left - one looks close to new (90%), three are pretty good (80%), and one shows more wear than the others, but still have lots of life (~60%). Wheels are rough, but would clean-up nicely. These are heavy-duty 14-ply, military off-road-specific tires. (I don't really want to part with these, so hopefully the RT's sell!)
Regards,
Tom P.
P.S. There is a remote possibility I could offer the RT's on Wolf wheels, and keep the LWB wheels. We'd have to work out a price as this would involve some tire shop labor.
