I spoke with a few people at Robesonia and didn't realize no one knew MAR and the Conclave had merged.

I spoke with Sean and some of the execs at SCC but at that point couldn't say what exacxtly was in the works but here it is.

The weekend of September 20th- 23rd at The Cove in Gore VA which is a much closer Venue about 2 and a bit hrs from Lancaster The area is massive and not only has trails from Green laning to scare the wildest buggies but has camping, cabins, trailer hookups and best of all shower houses and wash rooms, a lake, a shooting range, ampatheatre, the list goes on.

The current cost is about $170 but we hope to have it down in the next week or so. I'll save almost that on fuel not going to Scotsville.

The promoters are working on this being Club oriented to the point that there is talk of allowing clubs to set up a booth at the main tent to promote their club sell t-shirts or just as a central point to meet. That is still in the works

Ayway lets get a group together and maybe we can get our own tent like we did a few years ago at MAR!!

Anyone seen this convoy by NELRC to MAR?

Maybe we should join up with them, or do a similar thing?

So I might even risk getting bugs on my window and some dirt on the wheels and actually attend an event!

Hmmm....I never made it to MAR because the distance from NJ in the strange rover just seemed like a bad idea. This might be a good date for me to shoot to get it back on the road from it's "restoration".

Just remember, by 'beer cans' Brett actually means you can follow his trail of leaking oil and coolant...the actual beer cans are just piled up next to the last spot his Disco broke down...

I put the series on the trailer behind "Big Red" the Ford F150, I want to get there the same day I leave for there. I should be there Thursday. Dad won't be coming down this time, he already had plans. He's having trouble with the brakes on the 101 anyway. Anyone a hydraulics expert? Anyone bringing anything that goes bang? Anyone have any requests? I have a few items I can bring. Let me know. Their range is crude but a lot of fun! See you all there!
