I traded my D2 for a Honda Odyssey van in Reading PA at Masano. Before I traded it I wrote a note with my name and email address in it and put it in the owners manual for the next owner hoping they would contact me.
Today I got an email from the new owner. Pete lives in Florida and bought it in York PA from Autorama (Tikicar's dealership). I had traded it in Reading, Tiki bought it at auction and Pete bought it there which is only 15 minutes from my house instead of 90 minutes away like where I traded it.
Pete had only BMW motorcycles for the last 9 years and now is the proud new owner of a LR. I filled him in on the history I knew and he told me some recent history on his end. Hopefully we can keep our penpalling going so I can still enjoy "my" rover.
