Hi, all.

I'm new in north NJ, and on the lookout for a Land Rover.

I used to have venerable SWB Series III, back in the UK, and I'm tempted to get another like that, or a fairly basic Defender.

I'm open-minded, though. I'd be interested in the crew-cab 130 pickup, too (if such a beast exists in the USA).

Oh, and I'm a skinflint, so it'd have to be cheap! ;)

Keith,
Welcome to the club!
I have a customer's 130 crew cab with utility company box on the back as well as a NAS 94 D90 soft top for sale.
I have more details but the D90 (on ebay right now) is around $19,000 and the 130 is around $14,000
Is that cheap enough?!
Trevor

No way!

Looks like I'll have to start looking at an air-portable. ;)

How about a 74ish lightweight? Rebuilt MOD motor and gear box. Bulkhead needs work, but seems solid. 2 outriggers swiss cheese. If you can weld, great. Rest is rather solid. First coat of spray paint dark red, converted to 12v. Tires need replacing. Canvas top is decent.

$4500 zipcode 18901

I have a 1974 88 X-MOD. Very good condition. Newish frame, solid 5 br. motor, VG goodyear x-grip tires. hood is good condition. New brake cyl. all around as well as a new master and slave cyl. for the clutch. A few character marks (Dents) from her days in the Queen's service and trips out with the club. Did I say 12 volts? $8500 I don't live to far from Crazyfish if you want to see both trucks. PS, Welcome to the club
