Informal start is Friday evening At Pine Hollow Departing for cabin around 8 or so

Please post up if your coming Friday night or Sat AM so as we don't leave any one behind

I strongly suggest tire chains ,front and rear recovery points and at least one tow strap given the recent weather. I'll bring my chain saw , a second one may be handy with the recent ice storm . This ride in may be the most fun yet !!!

My scouts are saying 24 to 30 inches of snow on the road , Be ready for a interesting ride to camp !
Pine hollow is ready for us this year, expecting us to start to roll in around 6ish . They did say the parking lot is a bit tight and we may have to park at the Methodist church .

Hey guys, been super busy at work and haven't posted any of my questions. First, what else is needed in the food or beverage department? Please let me know so I can contribute. I also plan on coming up Fri, so what and where is pine hollow? And lastly, does anyone have an extra set of tire chains like Niel previously posted about earlier. Same size tires, 235/85/16. Thanks, and looking forward to the weekend, Matt.

I test fitted a tire chain tonight to make sure I'm nit figuring it out Friday night.

One thing I realized and putting this out there. You may want to bring a tarp or blanket to lay down when you are doing this. I would have been soaked to the core if I hadn't.

Its hard to tell what the conditions will be until we are actually on the road. We could run into post whole deep snow or it may be hardpacked by snowmobiles and a fast trip in , There may be trees down from the earlier ice storm . That is one for the history books me thinks. Jensen and I had a fantastic time. Night wheeling with Frank and crew was great. We didn't go far but it took a long time! I missed going to Monument Rock for the sacred nectar but there was no getting up that trail.

Also thanks to all the ladies that kept things in order. Thanks to Bill for his work with helping Evan around the cabin all weekend. Thanks to Sean (sp?) and ladies for the great eats!

Oh! Almost forgot!

Thanks to Galen for wearing the polar bear pajamas.
Thanks to Randy for setting his cot up right in front of the fire and in the middle of everything. :p
Thanks to Rob for staying in his bed this year.
Thanks to Frank for shoveling every time someone got stuck on the way in.
Thanks to Brett for keeping his cussing to a minimum when his winch rope broke 5 times. Also, for showing us the Equipe makes bumpers for posers, not wheelers.
Thanks to Brett and Dan for forging the trail for the rest of us.
