What a great idea for offroading. That technology must have been contemplated for use in school buses in the past.

I saw the other day that rear cameras (backup cameras) are required in all new cars sold in the US from 2018 onwards (or something along those lines).

My friend's Jeep has had that for years. The rusted out hood and fenders lets you see everything.

nice on low dust gravel roads... what happens when we actually take it "off road" and get mud and dust on the little cam under car?

just saying.

How do you see through the tyre on the bonnet? Also, if this technology relies on electricity to run I highly doubt it'll work more than one trip hooked to the cloth wrapped, tar dipped, Lucas wiring loom.
Oh, wait, it's for those new fangled trucks, nevermind!
