My family and I are emigrating from Manchester in the UK to State College in Pennsylvania in the next couple of months. I'm bringing over two of our 101FC landys, and hope to do battle with Lyle..... Hi Lyle.

Here's a picture of my GS, about 10 years ago, when we converted the back into a workshop

And with my late father in the 'shop

and up to our axles in brown stuff.

We also have an ambulance that was in the process of being converted into an expedition camper....which is a bit of a project.....

Look forward to meeting you all in a few months.

Welcome!

There are several of us in the State College area. If you need assistance by all means please reach out to me.

Some years ago there was a 101FC at a farm on the edge of town, but it hasn't been there for years.

Stuart's here too, but I guess he doesn't count since his Rovers never leave the garage. :)

Here's a picture of the ambulance project.

...there isn't really a bunch of flowers growing in the wheel arch, that's just camera angles...
You'll see this one is already an LHD - but needs a PAS box. Oh, and an engine. Just located an "original" V8 to satisfy the customs people that she's a genuine 101 ambi.

Are there anyother ambis in the USA ?

That's nothing to be sad about. Garage is my favorite place in the house. These days I am spending lots of time there putting my transmission back in....

Be careful with your offers of generosity. I have projects that have been sitting untouched for three years and more.

Doug Crowther says it wouldn't be possible to put this on the road in the USA, because of the body mod.
But what a camper !

But it can do a tour around Robesonia and the surrounding 3000 contiguous acerage! What would it take to get over here?

Do you want to keep the body shell Lyle? Or just get another 101?

I got a quote off Doug yesterday, for the two.
