We used to - I actually came across some today while organizing my bookshelves.

The only way I would even consider a newsletter again would be electronically.

Having been the editor I can tell you it is extremely time consuming.

The biggest issue is content. Finding people to write something is near impossible. When I did it, I would write something, Tom would give me something as president and Trevor would always give me something technical. Other than that finding anyone willing to write anything was hard. So the newsletter ended up being kind of the same every quarter.

To me the forum serves the purpose of the newsletter, people can start a thread on their vehicles, talk about events, ask technical questions, etc, etc.

Electronically makes total sense. It's much easier to make nice full color PDF documents and email them than traditional printing and mailing.

I never realized that content was so hard to come by. We have a good number of members each with a variety of vehicles. Personally I love our forum section but it seems as thought the same 5-10 people post and that's all. Admittedly I am anti-Facebook so perhaps that gets more use but I don't know.
