****s about to get real?!

Like, "oh yeah, just went over that speed bump in my Big Daddy. Not a problem... Yeah man, gonna park my Big Daddy in town and have the riff-raff take into the "mountains".

I'd like to wheel but Lyle doesn't do 2" deep mud puddles and 1/2" sticks on the hard top.

Love ya Brett. wheel that f'er!

and, yes, probably bringing the black kid again...

Saturday work day went well. We have 7 sections done already. some entirely new ones, some backwards from last event and some favorites with a twist. We have one with 20 ft wide gates. You'll see why .... Thank you to everyone that came out. Looking to complete the last three today! If you can make it we're starting at my Dads house at 9:00 AM, breaking for lunch at Tony's at noon and back to complete in the early afternoon.

Good work day! Thanks to everyone that came out. Had a great time, despite the snow! Snowed pretty good as we finished the last section up. We have a total of 10 sections this event. there are seven on my fathers property and three down on the property below that we have never used before. These are going to be good sections!!! Camping was good this weekend besides being a little cold. My father has already brought the Porto Potty up to the campground and we have a good pile of seasoned oak firewood up at the fire ring. We also now have a grill up at the campground thanks to Brett, just need a propane tank. Weather here next Saturday is expected to be 62/38 and partly cloudy. Hope to see you here!!!

Had a great time setting up as usual. After being possessed by satan we set up a couple of courses down on the bottom of the property. The rest of the courses will definitely make your head and forearms sore but all in good fun. Hope we have a good turn out next weekend. The camp site is loaded with fire wood and ready to go.

I hope you used Bretts truck to set the gates a few of us are fatter than before.

"A few of us are fatter than before"

Hey, I resemble that remark!
I walked through and they set gates on either side, should be plenty wide enough!
The courses are fair, some may be tight for a coiler and fine for a series yet some will require a V 8 to get to the top. Terrain is tough on these this year! Some sections have 8 out of 10 gates 15 feet wide or wider.
I think everyone has a fair shot at first place this year.

Will be there sat am. Having never gone, i'm curious as to the camping situation. Is there fire allowed? i assume there's no power on site.

We all camp in a large area with one big campfire. Not sure of the power situation, but not likely at the campsite.

PRIMITIVE CAMPING, the way we like it. No power except the Honda generator in the morning for half an hour while Randy makes his latte.

Anyone camping Friday night?

Great! Looks like a good Friday night as long as Jensen doesn't decide he'd rather go to the football game.

I got the alternator on the truck and got it started. I'll go over it tonight and hopefully I will be all set.

Awesome day Saturday! can't believe we only got 5 done... but THANKS a ton to Lyle and Dave for the use of land and setting it all up! It's been a while for me to attend an event and it has rekindled a rover fire. Even my passenger is hooked now!
Unfortunately my CV started clicking pretty severe on the drive home so I'm opting out for the finish today (sunday)... but still a well worth event!

In years past, I've brought a few "jeep guys" to these trials and they are blown away by the comradery and how "nice" everyone in the club is! They just keep saying, "jeep guys aren't like this"... Kudos to a ROVERS for being a good group of guys!

We were only there on Saturday afternoon as spectators but I couldn't agree more that it's a group of really nice people having fun with a diverse line-up of Rovers. It's a great event.

I want to say THANK YOU from the whole McMullan clan on how the event went. We had a great time. I like making them just as much if not more than driving them! Everyone that came out and helped set up get a special thanks because without the investment the weekend before, nothing would happen the weekend of the event. Cody, Tom, Steve,Sam, Beca, Bill, Brett, Ethan, Steve and family, and more I'm probably forgetting. We had 17 trucks on Saturday in competition, and 9 on Sunday. The sections became so spectator friendly that we were only able to do 5 per day. We had everything from series II to D2's to 101's! The second day we started with 12 trucks for the day. We ended up with a bent winch bumper, a blown out alpine window, a broken drag link, a broken diff and more. Quite an exiting event this year. 109's and 110's running with 88's and placing very respectable gives the creators of the event a good feeling. Each and every course was able to have a clear (0) scored on it. I may very well have been only one truck and driver to do it, but it was done nonetheless. Congratulations to both the Saturday's first half winner Rob to Sundays winner Randy. It was very nice to see some new faces too. Clinton, Steve, and more.
I hope everyone makes it home safe and sound and I look forward to Spring Robesonia trials!
BTW, who lost the square muffler down on the trail above lower land to lower lane? It has initials welded into it. Let me know, I found it and it ended up in the back of Old Rover.

Always the best event of the year. Thanks again to the clan McMullen for allowing us to run a muck on their property. Can't wait to do it again in the spring. Maybe even a snow run this year........
