Anyone ever hear off/see/run these tires?

They're nice and chunky. I'm researching now and came across those on tire rack. Probably headed BFG AT but I think I would prefer a MT.

I found a great deal only by way of a user on GnR I went with the BFG AT KO2s in a 235/85/16 for $145 a tire plus free shipping!

I poked around the web and found a few reviews of the DCs I posted about -- they were not positive. After watching several AT reviews I think they will provide sufficient off-road ability.

If I were going to buy tires today they would be Cooper SST Maxx's. Sven had them on his Disco and they are a perfect match between an AT and an MT.

You can't go wrong with BFG AT's. They are great. That's what I had on my Disco.

Yup, my next tire change will be the ST Maxx. Very similar to the old Dunlop RT which I loved!

It's funny that you both mentioned Copper tires. I checked in with a local place and they sell them. I saw the Maxx -- which is a nice AT. Also saw the Pro -- which is a pretty aggressive MT. I did some research and the MT got high marks for mud (duh), rock, and even sand -- which if you've ever driven in the Pine Barrens there is plenty of! They're not too cheap. My budget was $200 and they're going to run me $225. I can deal with that and I am glad to be going with a local place. I'll post a pic later once they're installed.
