Disco 1 wheel nut key ?

Does anyone in the State College area have a D1 security key for the wheel nuts ? There isn't one in ours.

I don't have one. I used too and threw them out.

I can ask the guy in my neighborhood if he has one, but I never see him out.

Dumb question but have you looked under your drive and passenger seats? That's where mine was hiding.

My dad's latest disco came with those wheel locks and no key. I tried a "wheel lock removal socket" in the impact gun but that couldn't get enough grip to remove it. I ended up buying one large grade 8 bolt for each wheel lock and welding the threaded end to the wheel lock and then just turned the head of the bolt to remove. This worked great. Just put some masking tape on the surrounding area of the alloy wheel so you don't get splatter on it.
