Several people have expressed interest in the past to do a PA State Forest run. Most of the roads are dirt/gravel with a few "drivable trails". These would be very easy green trails with a water crossing or a small stretch of rocks at places.

I would love for this event to be a Series only event, at least a round headlight event. :)

We would likely need to keep the group to 10 trucks or less to stay in the good graces of the state.

More details to follow as more interest is shown.

Easy drive for you too!

I was thinking of starting the event Friday night at my brother in laws just opened brew pub in Selinsgrove. It's a small place, but they did a nice job with it.

As much as I would like to support my brother in law I think there is another place that is a better meeting place in Mifflinburg. http://www.rustyrailbrewing.com/

This is about 20 minutes from a state campground (RB Winter) or several free camp sites in the Bald Eagle State Forest. I'm going to try and scout out the free sites to see if any of those would work.

Thoughts?

Finally got to drive out to the spot I was looking at for a campsite this Sunday. The one spot is good for large groups and should accommodate us all. I have a request in to see if it is available that weekend. The sites come with a fire ring and picnic table despite being fairly remote. This site is probably about 20-25 minutes from the town of Mifflinburg and very close to all the trails we would run.

UPDATE: Looks like this site is available for that weekend.

UPDATE #2: I googled from the Rusty Rail to this campsite and it's 12 miles, so it would be comparable to the drive from restaurant meeting place to SCC.

I appreciate everyone being flexible, after talking to most everyone this past weekend looks like we will now be going the first weekend in June 1-3.
