Don't forget boys and girls you can head over to the Gallery and start your very own image gallery. Show off your rig, document the restoration ( and repairs ).

Not a Rover, but a new ride nonetheless.

Add the Buell, subtract the RRC with the blown engine, subtract the IIa that hasn't run in 5 years, add the 89 F-250 that needs more work than an 89 F-250, and the end result is that I'm travelling backwards.

Your wife must be a patient woman.

Here's the short story. The engine I got from my friend in FL had a spun bearing, which wasn't uncovered until it was installed and running without oil pressure. I've aquired an engine from Tom, but I still need to break it down before bringing it over to Don's house, but we'll be doing that on the 19th at my shop day. Since it's the middle of race season, Don doesn't have any free time to devote to the RRC right now, but will in a couple of months, and I will once again be on the road. By the time I get my truck back, the Black Eyed Pea's and Godsmack CD's in the changer will be considered oldies. I am really aiming for Fall Robesonia as the goal. The IIa will hopefully be running at the end of shop day, or will at least be very close. I sold the F-250, so I will be dividing my time between Buell, Bontrager, and "the boat", a 1991 Ford Crown Vic LTD. (jealous?)

And yes, she is very patient.

If we get stuck, at least we know where we can leave it.

:D
I set sail on my first voyage in 19 months with my RRC. I couldn't be more thrilled. It runs very smooth and quietly. One might even say it purrs like a kitten. Many people helped me with this project over the last year, so much thanks to Don, Tom, Lisa, Frank, Dave, Ken, Paul, and Kim. It's hard to believe I actually have a running rover again!:D

Congratulations!

It will be nice to see you at events in a rover once again.
