So any word yet on when? Hopefully it will have a lot of snow this year.

It can't snow. It won't snow. I've hade new tire chains for two years and no snow. Now I wonder if I even remember how to put them on.......

I bought chains too for winter off roading around my area. Of course I've only used them once because the snow never coincides with my free time. What's the deal with spruce cabin - are the trails suitable for a stock DII? I'd prefer not to damage my dad's truck, but I know there is a risk anytime you go off road.

Actually, Spruce Cabin is one of those places where stock to heavy modified both work. Red took Snow White ( stock DII ) and other than one tree stump jumping out at the passenger door, it was fine. It's the mix of trails that make it fun. Randy Williams loves going up that one crazy hill climb, while others watch and cheer.

It's my favorite event overall.

Thanks Sean - I guess I'll have to give it a go this year then!

I'm really looking forward to it as well. No more borrowing or begging, I can finally bring my own truck. Rover, anyway.

We don't have a date yet, but should by tomorrow. I'll post it here and we can start the Attendee list as well. Just like last year, it will be limited to 20 trucks, $25.00 per truck $5.00 per passenger. Remember, there are only 24 beds, so sign up early. Evan mentioned doing the pizza thing again since that was successful last year. We'll see how this progresses through the next few weeks.

So, hold my spot!

Sorry for the delay, but we are still waiting for Evan to make the final decision on the date. It should be either jan 20-21 or feb 17-18. As soon as I know, I'll post it.
