I bought one of those for my kids for Christmas. Great attention to detail and it works great!

Yep, all psychologists agree, start the addiction early.

I just caught my 3 year old trying to rebuild a winch motor. Crazy.

This is sad, but I guess I can admit it here, my wife bought me one for my B-Day. I chase the Labradors around the house with it and bring it out when we have company... It's very loud and annoying. hehehehehe :D But then they see the garage and they understand! Well, kinda....

My wife got me an R/C Defender 90 from Pottery Barn Kids (Of all places) for Chirstmas the year before last. Pottery Barn Kids doesn't have them anymore, but I've found them on several european toy websites, if someone really wants one. It won't do quite the hard core offroading of the LR3 monster truck, but it is a pretty realistic model. It is four wheel drive, has articulating suspension front and rear, high and low range, working lights, turn signals and engine sounds. I was pretty impressed over all.. Here are a few photos and links to more photos and a couple of short videos of it running...
