Very cool, but the lighting is all wrong, it would look much better in my driveway! :D
I saw it in his garage. This truck is sweet! I was getting depressed on my way home as I realized mine will never look that good :D
Nice job, Randy.

I really like the color, is that a standard Land Rover color? It looks very close to British Racing Green, which is the color of my MGB. You started your project last March? That is warp speed,, I started my rebuild in Dec 2005. I think I am about 50% complete so it is looking like a five year project.

The color is Conisten Green (sp) its a d-90 color. My d-90 took me 2.5 years to build. THis one, I had almost all the parts before I started and my dad built the axles and a few other parts while I rebuilt the engine.. That saved some actual time... There are tons of hours in it though..
Randy, truck looks great! I wanna learn more about the Perkins motor...Where do you get them in the Us? Also, did you use a conversion kit>

I got mine from a friend who imported it from the UK. I used a kit to install it.

if you want we can set up a gallery for you or build a complete web page and get all your pics and info in one location.
Looking good. The white roof works out well against the green sides.

The white trop top with alpine windows really finishes it off nicely. So I assume it has an exhaust system now? How is does she do rattling around town?

To reward him for a resto well done? Isn't him driving a good looking truck enough?

Thanks guys.. The paint combo turned out really nice.
Who ever has a bag of money, I will build them a truck..... lol Oh and it does not have an exhaust yet. Running open header. It's actually not loud at all. I will be getting that done by a shop around the corner next week though.. still a bunch of small crap to do.. :D .

WHAT?
Tdi Guy

Yup... turbo diesels are not loud.. the turbo breaks up the noise before it is released... You can easily run no muffler and just straight pipes.. Lots of guys do..
I only live ten minutes away, what a small LR world....now where did I put my tow dolly again?
In all seriousness, niiice work. My truck is coming together too but not quite as fast as yours. I have been working on it since Oct 05 and its not as complete as yours. Congrats.

I live in Upper Saddle River, of course my Land Rover (in the almost two years I've had it) has never set foot in town.
