" What's this" LOL

Best Series quote from SCC When I was replacing a broken brake line and someone commented " It's nota trail fix if you don't use a hammer"

You never mentioned a hammer in must haves.

I'm thinking a Home Depot credit card ... I've just about fixed my entire truck using parts and bits I've bought there! Mine carries just about everything I might need, from industrial sized cans of PB Blaster to rust-proofing products and nuts and bolts.

A can of 'Insanity' would be nice for those moments ... you know, where you head out after dinner to just check on the old girl and see if she's leaking and your spouse comes out four hours later and finds you with the head gasket in one hand and the intake manifold in the other!

That' s a great comment Randy. Hammers are great, so is an axe. Hopefully I won't need the latter to 'fix' my Rover.

I've got a few odd 'spares' that have accumulated in the Series:
- 3-foot marshmellow/hot-dog fork
- Japanese tatame sandals, size-7 (complete w/ the big-toe socks!)
- 'Hampton Inn' coffee kit (for the MSR stove)
- water rockets...

Just the type of stuff Mr. Zen would carry...

Although not an owner, I have found you always can use several lengths of wire coat hanger and 10" vice grip pliers with cutters in them.
