Hello,
I have a question about the transmitters on the oil filter, my 1973 Series III has two transmitters, one for pressure and a second one that mounts on a fitting perpendicular to the pressure transmitter. This does not show up in the manuals or parts listing, or even on the electrical drawings. I was wondering if this is a special unit for U. S. spec vehicles or is it some optional device? Does anyone have any information on this second transmitter? Is it possible to get parts for it?

Its probably for the oil pressure gauge on the dash. I also have a 73 SIII.

Do you have oil temp on the dash too, It could be a temp sender, but thats just a swag at it.

I will have to dig in the cardboard box that has all the dash components in it.

Is that unused discarded or not yet installed components?
