I took some pics 2nite of my progress. I've painted 3 coats of Interlux Brightside (Marine topside paint) on my series using a 4" foam roller and a brush. I have a little wetsanding to do and probably at least 2 more coats. What do you guys think?

Price in materials is around $100.

Looks good to me. $100 dollar paint job saves money for things like tires, lockers, useful stuff. If you were gonna go car showing I think they'd deduct points but not this crowd.

Thanks guys. Kevin, your old door looks brand new...well at least the outside part!

Here's a sample of colors (http://www.yachtpaint.com/USA/general/colorcard_topsides.asp) available from interlux. I used Y4208 Hatteras Off-white to mimic limestone.

I'm going to have to get a color chip card for them, a couple look pretty close to sandglow.

Yeah West Marine has the color card. The colors on the website are way off.

Here's a pic of your recycled door! (Fluorescent light)

Looks really good to me. Now you motivated me to finally paint my 109 roof panel...
