Made up a high lift mount for the rear end. Simple piece of angle on the bottom and a bolt up top with a bronze spacer and a wing nut. At the bottom I used a bull nose pin that was line drilled through the jack and angle together. I think it cost all of $10.

Looks nice! Please be careful backing up or traversing a gulley-I'd hate to see body damage from hitting the jack or mount...

looks good - the red jack goes well with your rover!

I may actually move it to the bed now that I have a pick-up cab. Before it was protected by the top, but when Sven and I went out the other week it actually caught a tree when I was a little off camber. I didn't think about it catching things from the front.

I dropped off one steep bank and it was Ok, it only sticks out about 1/2" further than the original grab handles.

G -- you have the truck cab on yet? Got a pic?

It's on but needs to be painted. Truck looks silly red with a blue top, but it bolts down tighter than my regular top ever did.

I'd love to get one -- much easier to get no and off. I doubt the top will be on much in the summer, since I have a car port. But, in the winter the truck cab would be much easier to heat -- not that series are cold. HAHA.

When are you coming to renovate my house? Murphey misses you.

Oh and I didn't do too well on mine so I don't know if you want me messing with yours.

Really? What went wrong?

They squeal, they pull to one side, they have no more pressure than they did before. Actually I think they are just normal Series brakes.
