I know of one Christmas Lights drive-thru in Readington Township NJ (off Rt. 523, just North of Flemington). I was thinking it would be pretty cool to get a really long line of Land Rovers to pass through. Might make for really good photo op's as well.

I'm thinking the week of December 17th, obviously an evening, and hopefully not raining as my 109 is now topless! We could queue-up at an off-site location to to arrive en masse. Afterward, move to an undisclosed establishment for a hot cuppa, etc...

Who's game?

I'm in. Just prefer it not be Monday night 12/17 though. I'm good the rest of that week.

I'll stop by tonight and see what nights they are open (not open every week night). Then I'll post the possible dates, address, GPS coord's, etc.

Maybe there will even be snow on the fields!

I already have lights on my rack. But not sure about making it down there this week. Home with the baby who's sick today and he'll be home tomorrow so I've got some catching up to do with work. And Thursday is my office party...

Anybody up for Thrusday Night this week - Dec. 20th????

Turns out we've got something every other night this week (Scouts, School Christmas concerts...). Luckily Thursday looks precipitation-free so I can take my 109 to work (topless).

I've got my company dinner. Besides, EVERYONE in my house is now sick. The wife was up all night last night. The baby is recovering from a week+ of illness. I'm recovering from a week+ of illness and the older boy has a bad cough...

I can do Thursday. Where are we driving? I can take the 88 to work if need be.

The location is Schaefer Farms, Southbound side of Rt.523 in Hunterdon County. Their web site is http://www.schaeferfarms.com/ You can click on the "Holiday Lights" button as well as directions.

They are open weekdays from 5:30 until 9:00 PM. Cost is $10.00 per carload, $15.00 per passenger van, and $25.00 per busload. (What is a 109 full of people?)

GPS coord's:
40deg 32' 37.54" N
74deg 49' 40.68" W

Maybe shoot for 7PM?

If the weather is bad, we'll be in our D1. If it's not precipitating, the hearty folks will be bundled-up in the the 109 for open-top viewing and the rest in the D1.
